Enriching our Community through Equine Science, Education and Recreation

A Message From The Board Of Directors

The horse industry is a large and important part of our local, state and national economics. It involves
agriculture, business management, collegiate programs, equine athletic events, the racing industry and all
sorts of recreational uses.

A much publicized study done by the American Horse Council Foundation assures Minnesotans that the
horse industry is a highly diverse and economically significant industry as owners, service providers,
employees and volunteers. Over 1.9 million people own horses. The industry alone provides 338,500
full time jobs with a $112.1 billion impact on the US economy when the multiplier effect is taken into
account.

The Rochester Regional Equestrian Center (RREC) Board of Directors knows the importance and impact of the horse industry. Our goal is to move the industry forward in Minnesota. Input is sought from everyone
involved in any way with the equine industry.

Our goal is to provide a facility for Equine Science, Education, and Recreation to Minnesotans. We welcome you to be a a part of this professional Equine non-profit organization.

Donations of horses, tack, equipment, land and of course, money or stocks and bonds are welcome at
all times. We are a 501(c)3 organization and your gifts are deductible according to the law.
