Be
the first to run/walk on the newest State trail in Minnesota, The
Great River Ridge Trail! You will have the choice of running on the
paved bike trail or the soft horse trail right next to it. The trails
will be dedicated after the run. We are expecting our Governor and
some of the legislators who helped obtain money for this trail. Stay
for the other in town events.
Because we want all members to have fun this day, this will be a very
unusual run. You will time your own race and record it on a white
board by the gazebo. (race headquarters) We will have mile markers for
1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 miles. Choose whichever race (or more than one) you
would like to run. Run more than once to upgrade your score!
Family rate maximum of $15.00 donation, any age. (Limit of 1 t-shirt
per $5.00 donation while they last).
Location
Elgin, Minnesota, is located in southeast Minnesota. Race begins at
8:00 a.m. Check in begins at 7:30 a.m. on East Main Street by the
gazebo.
